How do I track QR code scans?
Only dynamic QR codes are tracked. A dynamic code points to a short link we host, so every scan is recorded (scan counts, locations, devices and timestamps) before it redirects. A static code stores its content in the pattern itself, so phones never contact us and its scans can't be counted. You can switch a static code to dynamic in your dashboard (it counts toward your plan's dynamic-code limit), but that changes the pattern: reprint it, because copies of the old static code stay untracked.
Can I edit a QR code after creating it?
Dynamic QR codes can be updated after creation, allowing you to change the destination URL without needing to regenerate the QR code. However, static QR codes cannot be edited after creation and will require creating a new QR code if you need to change the destination. If your subscription ends, dynamic codes above the free plan's limit are locked rather than switched off: they carry on redirecting to their current destination, but that destination becomes read-only until you subscribe again. Your dashboard shows a banner listing the locked codes and lets you choose which one stays editable.
How do QR codes work?
QR codes are two-dimensional barcodes that can store various types of data. When scanned with a smartphone camera, they instantly redirect users to websites, display text, or perform other actions.
Is there a limit to the number of QR codes I can create?
QR code limits vary by plan. The free plan includes 10 QR codes, Starter plan includes 100 QR codes, Pro plan includes 500 QR codes. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limit. If you end up above your plan's limit, for example after a subscription ends, nothing is deleted and every existing code keeps redirecting; you just cannot create new codes until you are back under the limit.
